Welcome to Bhutan! Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your local guide and transferred to Thimphu (2,320m), Bhutan’s charming capital.

On the way, enjoy scenic river valleys and visit a temple linked to the great bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo.
In Thimphu, explore highlights such as:

  • Buddha Dordenma – a massive golden statue overlooking the valley.
  • Memorial Chorten – built in honor of the 3rd King of Bhutan.
  • Changangkha Lhakhang – the city’s oldest monastery, known for child blessings.
  • Simply Bhutan Museum – a living showcase of Bhutanese culture and heritage.

Evening stroll through Clock Tower Square for shopping, cafés, and local vibes.

After breakfast, drive across the spectacular Dochu La Pass (3,140m), adorned with 108 chortens and fluttering prayer flags. On a clear day, the pass offers a panoramic view of the snow-clad Himalayas.

Descend into the warmer Punakha Valley and visit the breathtaking Punakha Dzong, considered one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.

This morning, drive back to Paro with scenic stops along the way. At Chuzom, admire the three stupas built in Bhutanese, Tibetan, and Nepali styles symbols of protection and harmony.

Visit Tamchhu Lhakhang, a 14th-century temple built by Thangtong Gyalpo, accessible via an ancient iron suspension bridge.
Arrive in Paro and relax at your hotel, or unwind with a traditional hot stone bath (optional).

After an early breakfast, embark on Bhutan’s most iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Perched on a sheer cliff 3,120 meters above sea level, this sacred site is where Guru Rinpoche meditated after flying in on the back of a tigress.

The hike takes around 4–5 hours round-trip and rewards you with awe-inspiring views of the Paro Valley.
Return in the afternoon to relax and explore Paro town.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner by the fire or at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward flight. Your guide will assist with departure formalities and bid you farewell.
